The first JEC oneg of 5782 was incredible! The school rolled out the theme of the year: “On the Road to Kavod!” In a student-featured introduction video, JEC students explained what kavod meant to them. At the oneg, teachers spoke about the journey each and every one of us are on, as individuals and as a community, to enhance this important midah of respect! Students received kavod pedometers to track their steps on this journey! The students received specially-designed JEC Tefillat Haderech decals sponsored by Legacy Leasing for the JEC families to display in their cars. Everyone looks forward to exciting programming, lessons and activities centered around the midah of kavod.
