JEC Lower School Celebrates Thanksgiving

The JEC Lower School students enjoyed a Thanksgiving round robin filled with many fun and educational projects and activities run by general and Judaic teachers. The building was infused with a feeling of creativity and collaboration as the students moved from station to station from classroom to classroom. At one station, students expressed hakarat hatov to members of the JEC faculty by writing thank you cards. The fourth graders enjoyed a Thanksgiving-style Escape the Room where they worked in partners to reveal a Thanksgiving message and successfully escaped the room! Fifth grade worked on a collaborative Thanksgiving myths and facts project, where they learned about and presented in a Google slideshow what are the myths and facts of Thanksgiving to Primer students. Early childhood enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving feast.
