JEC welcomed Adar last week and with its arrival, the start of fun, exciting and meaningful programming. On Tuesday, students enjoyed Rosh Chodesh lunch games and ate yummy hamentashen. Teachers enjoyed a delicious faculty breakfast from Patis. Thank you to the sponsors of this fun, enjoyable day.

On Wednesday, student “rolled into Adar” with some great activities! Early Childhood students rolled, jumped and tumbled with the Traveling Tumblers. Elementary school students enjoyed roller skating with their friends and teachers. The teachers were treated by anonymous parent donors to sushi rolls in honor of Rosh Chodesh. On Thursday, the building was filled with blue and yellow as everyone sang, cheered, danced and had a blast cheering on the Middle School teams. Mrs. Bienenfeld handed out pom poms and ran an exciting JEC Swag Raffle.

The week ended with a meaningful learning activity followed by an interactive Purim game. This week students celebrated the 100th day of school, filled the halls with simcha on Yom Simcha, experienced a “Yom L’Kavod Shabbos” and so much more.
