Learning the colors is a milestone in early childhood and it represents a child’s cognitive understanding. A series of color experiments were done this week. The class had so much fun experimenting with colors following the book “White Rabbit Color Book” by Alan Baker. The expression on the children’s faces when they saw the new color appear was priceless! Color mixing can help practice critical thinking skills like exploring cause and effect through the observation of how colors blend together while engaging in problem solving by teasing different ways to achieve a certain color. The children had so many great questions and came up with different ideas for their next experiment!
