Primer students learned their first nekuda—kumatz last week! Morah Shana Weissman brought in her special “uuuuuuhhh”mbrella so that the children could have an easier time understanding the new sound. The primer children decorated beautiful kumatz umbrellas of their own to take home. It’s so exciting to be able to blend the alef bet with this nekudah. Kriya is so much fun at JEC!
