This week, students in the freshman and sophomore classes began learning how to use the CNC machine. A CNC is a computer-guided tool that carves out their design from stock metal or wood. Their first project was a map of Israel. Students are learning cutting-edge technology, building these 21st century skills and broadening their future opportunities. “Learning how to set up and measure the wood for cutting was such a cool experience,” said freshman Moshe Adonolem. Jacob Feit added, “I’m learning how to design things from scratch and can’t wait for what’s next.”
