Chanukah is a time of joy, celebration and even gifts, but for some members of the community this is a stressful time. Not everyone has the luxury to spend money on gifts, and JEC did its best to alleviate some of this hardship. The JEC family collected upwards of 100 toys for the JFS of Central NJ Chanukah toy drive. Not only did they collect the toys, but the sixth grade boys, with the help of Rabbi Friedman, even helped sort them at JFS of Central New Jersey. While at JFS, the boys took the opportunity to perform even more chesed and helped organize the food pantry. JEC is so proud of the boys for seeing this mitzvah through and helping so many children in the community have an amazing Chanukah!
