This month JEC students are stepping up their emet! They read the book “The Empty Pot” by Demi that discusses choosing honesty, even when it is not easy. Throughout the week, students in grades one through five will be reflecting on the story and writing their own ideas on the importance of honesty, with grade appropriate prompts. It was wonderful to see all the students’ insightful ideas.
