The faculty, from all three divisions of the JEC, participated in the 2019 Quest Conference sponsored by the Jewish Federation of greater MetroWest, joining colleagues from other day schools in our communities. The theme of the conference was, “The World in Our Jewish Day Schools: How the Social, Cultural and Political Climates Impact Our Work.” Morah Racheli Schur, third grade teacher, turned learning from the conference into immediate practice using ideas she learned in a session entitled: “Intrinsic Motivation in the Judaic Studies Classroom” led by Rabbi Shmuel Feld.
