JEC had its inaugural Rashi Breakfast for third grade students and their parents. They marked the momentous occasion of the beginning of their mefarshim journey with a meaningful program. The students learned a Rashi on this week’s parsha with Rabbi Beer, decorated a bookmark with Rashi script, played Rashi letter games and ate a delicious breakfast. The children received beautiful headbands and kippas designed by Morah Shira Raymond @shirasimpressivedesigns as a special giveaway. They heard words of inspiration from Rabbi Beer, Morah Reich, Rabbi Carlebach and Morah Meira. Each child brought home a personalized Rashi pouch, complete with Rashi games, a learning sheet and a Rashi stencil. Everyone looks forward to sharing in their continued growth in Torah learning as students learn Torah, love Torah and live Torah at JEC!
