JEC third grade girls, led by their teacher, Morah Meira Sheffey, had an incredible מסיבת התחלת שמונה עשרה to celebrate the beginning of their Shemoneh Esrei journey! Morah Meira taught them a song for the introductory verse, ה’ שפתי תפתח, they ate yummy cupcakes and designed and created special necklaces with their Hebrew names! The girls will be learning this special tefillah throughout the next few months, culminating in a Shemoneh Esrei presentation at the end of the year.
