The JEC third graders had a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Carnegie Hall! Armed with their recorders and ready with their voices, the students were ushered to their seats. The third graders joined with about 2700 school-aged children, and alongside the orchestra, they played many classics that the children had practiced throughout the entire year. The orchestra moved about the concert hall and the audience was mesmerized. The students joined in singing a piece from the opera, and enjoyed listening to various musical compositions with which they were familiar. The children enjoyed every minute of the show, the annual capstone event of the third grade music program.
