Jerry and Rena Barta of Teaneck became first-time grandparents with the birth of Yotam Aharon Shmuel to their children Ilana and Akiva Fund, now of Haifa, Israel. Grandparents Aryeh and Yocheved Fund live in Efrat, Israel.

The baby was born on April 12, the second day of Pesach. He is named Aharon Shmuel after Jerry’s uncle, who had a close relationship with Ilana.
