Jewish Family Service of Central NJ 5K Run Is Planned for Sunday, June 4

Elizabeth—Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ) will hold a 5K Run/Walk in support of the organization’s many services, on Sunday, June 4, at Oak Ridge Park, located at 136 Oak Ridge Road, Clark, New Jersey, beginning at 9 a.m. The event is being chaired by JFSCNJ Board Member Mindy Goldberger, and the entire community is invited to sponsor the event and/or join the run. Bib pick-up is at 7:30 a.m. and prizes will be awarded to the largest donors.

Corporate sponsors to date include Atlantic Realty; Beckerman & Company; Crystal Plaza Group; Greenfield Gardens; Kurtz & Hornak, PA; Landmark Homes; Neidich and Company; Pella Windows; Regal Bank; Renewal by Anderson; Silicon East; Smarties Candy; South Amboy Plumbing Supply and the Wilf Family Foundations.

JFSCNJ is the premier non-sectarian health and social service agency serving all residents of Union County, with a kosher food pantry, Meals on Wheels and produce from its urban community garden. JFSCNJ also provides programs for Holocaust survivors; counseling for individuals, families and children; caregiver support for children with special needs; support for families caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s/dementia; nursing and home health aide services; and transportation for the homebound elderly.
