Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ), a non-sectarian health and social service agency, received a grant from the Union County Division on Planning to provide home-delivered meals to residents of Union County who are under 59 and disabled.
In order to qualify, you must be a resident of Union County, New Jersey, and disabled due to an acute injury, or a chronic medical or emotional illness. Your annual income cannot exceed $42,000.
Although the JFSCNJ’s Meals on Wheels service is kosher, you do not have to be kosher to receive the meals. Meals are delivered five days a week.
Contact Chris Kaiser, [email protected], 908-352-8375, for further information and to see if you qualify for the service.
