The Jewish Genealogical Society of New York invites members of the public to their next program, “Help! I got my DNA Results and I’m Confused! Next Steps (Part 2).” The featured speaker is Gil Bardige, who has spoken at dozens of local events and conferences, including IAJGS conferences.
This program will be streamed via Zoom on Sunday, September 15 at 2 p.m..
Bardige will discuss proven methodologies that will allow you to prioritize your next 50 unknown priority matches with the highest probability of finding a common relative on a family tree, and the ones you should ignore. He will discuss actionable processes that you can use in your genealogy research.
This intermediate to advanced level presentation is primarily for those with Jewish ancestry who have used the principles that he presented in Part 1 and have run into new brick walls or who just want to be able to expand their search parameters productively.
Attendance is free for JGSNY members. Members have been sent the Zoom registration link via email. Please register if you plan to attend. Non-members of JGSNY may attend for a $5 fee. Please go to the nonmember payment page. You will see the Zoom registration link once payment is made.
