The Jewish Genealogical Society of New York invites members of the public to its next program, “The Kindertransports: The KTA, the 80th Year Commemorative Journey, and New Research.” The program will be held on Sunday, March 19 at 2 p.m., in person at the Center for Jewish History, 15 W. 16th Street, NYC, and via Zoom.
KTA President and filmmaker Melissa Hacker will talk about her film, which follows a group of four survivors and 14 second-generation family members tracing the Kindertransport journeys from the countries they fled to the UK; Wendy Henry, a KTA member whose mother was rescued by the Kindertransport; and Dr. Amy Williams, who is doing research on the Kindertransports.
The program is co-sponsored with the Leo Baeck Institute and the Kindertransport Association.
Admission is free for members of the JGSNY, the CJH, the KTA and the Leo Baeck Institute. Admission is $5 for all others.
