Jewish Heritage Museum’s Chai Birthday Incorporation Day Fundraiser Challenge: $18 for 18 Years

The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is grateful for the continued and generous support of our donors and members as we revel in celebrating the 18th anniversary of the museum’s incorporation on Feb. 6!

Over the past 18 years, JHMOMC has served as a vital repository of our collective history, showcasing the beauty, resilience and contributions of Jewish community in Monmouth County. From the artifacts that tell stories of generations past to the vibrant exhibits that explore the diversity of Jewish experiences, the museum has become a living testament to the strength of our shared heritage.

During February, our incorporation month, a contribution of chai—$18—will directly support the preservation and expansion of our exhibits, ensuring that future generations can continue to learn and be inspired. Consider making a special donation of $18 (or a multiple of chai—$36, $54, $72, $180 or even $1,800) to commemorate our 18th year!

If you’re already a member, consider renewing your membership as a birthday gift to the museum. If not, now is the perfect time to become a member and enjoy exclusive benefits while supporting our mission. The museum warmly welcomes visitors on Sundays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. as well as on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. During these hours, indulge in a captivating tour of our permanent exhibition titled “Three Centuries of Growth and Change — A History of the Jews of Monmouth County.”

Keep an eye out for special events and programs we have planned throughout the year to celebrate our 18th birthday. Your participation not only adds to the joy of the occasion but also contributes directly to our fundraising efforts.

L’chaim to 18 years and many more!

Jessica Solomon is the executive director of JHMOMC.
