(Courtesy of The Jewish Home) The Jewish Home Family has invited the community to attend an in-person screening of “The Father” an award-winning film about a family living with the early signs of dementia. The nonprofit, which runs the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home Assisted Living and Jewish Home at Home, is limiting the audience to those who are fully vaccinated and will be seating just 30% of the theater at Paramus’s AMC Garden State Plaza on May 24 at 5:30 p.m.
The event will be preceded by an informational health fair covering memory care, home care, post-COVID recovery programs, the Jewish Home’s Parkinson’s Center and various rehabilitation modalities.
“As we come out of the most difficult year in our history, we look forward to this opportunity to reconnect with our community,” says Jewish Home Family President and CEO Carol Silver Elliott. “This film touches on a subject that many families wrestle with and something that the Jewish Home can truly help address. We offer this special program to provide information and support and to do so in a way that is responsible and safe.”
Space is limited so fully vaccinated individuals that wish to attend should register at http://jewishhomefamily.org/movie ahead of the event. For more information, email [email protected].
