The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Gotham Burger would like to recognize 10 year old Joshua Markovitz as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Yavneh Academy student is coming off a terrific Teaneck Baseball Organization season. He was the go-to pitcher for his TBO team and gave up only three runs in 11 games and 38 innings pitched.
Shari Markovitz (Joshua’s mom) told JLNJ, “He loves baseball, especially pitching. Joshua’s head is always in the game and he is always anticipating what to do next. He has great sportsmanship and enjoys playing.”
