Jewish Link, Yedei Chesed Team Up for June 12 Networking Event

The Jewish Link and The Power Entrepreneur have teamed up to host a high impact networking event with proceeds benefiting Yedei Chesed, an organization dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities. ‘Business for a Cause’ will take place on Wednesday, June 12, from 7-10 p.m. at the Avenue Event Space in Teaneck, featuring a panel of distinguished speakers including keynote speaker Joe Apfelbaum, CEO of Ajax Union. Also speaking is Joseph Steinberg, a leading cybersecurity executive, columnist, and influencer. The event is being emceed by Shmuel Shayowitz of Approved Funding, also a leading sponsor of the event.

Jake Rosenberg and Jacob Busani, co-founders of The Power Entrepreneur, are committed to helping people determine their goals and how to best achieve them. Hosting monthly business events, as well as weekly podcasts and daily videos, The Power Entrepreneur focuses on strategies to improve one’s personal and professional development. “My objective has always been to help people grow and succeed. This event will offer guests those opportunities as well as the chance to support an incredible organization,” said Rosenberg.

Founded in 1992, Yedei Chesed advocates for people with developmental disabilities and helps them achieve an improved quality of life through independence and inclusion within society. The invaluable services it provides include residential programs, day programs and family support services. Rosenberg and Busani have been close to Yedei Chesed for many years and are proud to support an organization that does such important work based in their hometown of Monsey. Helping people succeed is what The Power Entrepreneur excels at regularly, and in this case, helping those who are at a disadvantage is even more gratifying.

Rosenberg’s monthly networking events showcase different speakers who discuss diverse areas of business and development. He also hosts a weekly podcast during which he interviews established business and community leaders, offering listeners a behind the scenes look at how successful people think and operate. Rosenberg describes ‘Business for a Cause’ as an upscale networking event, with executive level speakers and an impressive line-up of panelists available to engage in conversation throughout the evening. Whether you are currently an entrepreneur looking to expand your business or someone searching for something new, Rosenberg believes high impact networking is an integral part of the process.

The Power Entrepreneur has assisted numerous people who enlist their help in developing a strong business model. “I’m a small business owner and I find it so difficult to focus,” said Ari Abramowitz, president of Nevut, a nonprofit that helps soldiers transition to civilian life. “Because of The Power Entrepreneur seminars I’ve attended, I’ve learned to focus on programs and development. This has improved cash flow in a short period of time.”

What distinguishes this event from the regular monthly engagements is the opportunity to network with a group of highly impressive businesspeople while making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. Rosenberg sees this as a chance to give back in a meaningful way.

Moshe Kinderlehrer, co-publisher of JLNJ, is excited to be sponsoring this event with The Power Entrepreneur, an established Rockland County enterprise, and in conjunction with Yedei Chesed, an organization he believes provides vital assistance for so many families.

“There is so much talent in Bergen and Rockland Counties; as a local paper we want to provide our readership the opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs,” Kinderlehrer said. “We welcome the community, our advertisers and business minded people to join us for the first ever ‘Business for a Cause’ and experience the world of high impact networking.”

The event will feature a buffet dinner sponsored in part by Rock n’ Roll Sushi along with a wine tasting experience. For more information or to register, please visit www.B4Cevent.com. To learn more about Yedei Chesed, visit www.yedeichesed.org.
