JFCNJ Presents: Healthy Aging: What’s Normal? What’s Not?

(Courtesy of JFCNJ) Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey (JFSCNJ) will be presenting “Healthy Aging: What’s Normal? What’s Not?”  on Tuesday, November 9 at noon via Zoom. This free program will be led by Karen Winter, RN, JFSCNJ nurse consultant. This talk will highlight expected changes by reviewing and exploring each body system.

Winter graduated from CUNY College of Staten Island with an AAS degree, obtained her RN at that time, and then received her BSN. She has worked in multiple healthcare settings, both patient care and administrative. She is currently employed as a nurse consultant/certified home health aide recruiter and educator at JFSCNJ and provides in-service training and orientation for newly hired staff. In addition, she is a NJ Board of Nursing program coordinator for the JFSCNJ Certified Home Health Aide Training class, funded by the Fred C. Rummel Foundation.

This program is funded by the Lavy House Senior Resource Center and the Standish Foundation.  All those who register and attend will be entered for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
