JFCS Holds Annual ‘Celebration to Remember’

(Courtesy of JFCS) On Sunday, October 24, Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey (JFCS) held its annual celebration event honoring Debbie Harris and Helen Graf. By all accounts, it was a celebration to remember, as over 180 people gathered for the agency’s first such event since the onset of the pandemic. The Alpine Country Club in Demarest, New Jersey, was the venue, and it brought a simple elegance to the evening’s festivities. Catering was provided by RAM Caterers and the food selection and quality was both outstanding and in abundance. It was a night to remember for all who attended, with both new and familiar faces celebrating JFCS’s noble mission of helping those in our community who are in need, and honoring their wonderful honorees.

Thanks to its donors, JFCS is 98% of the way to reaching their goal, ensuring that they can continue to provide vital services to all who need them. Their “four pillars of support”—mental health services, older adult services, food insecurity services, and basic needs assistance—are how JFCS has become a safety net for our communities, and it is because of generous donations that they are able to continue to do so.

JFCS is a shomer Shabbos and Yom Tov social services agency that serves Bergen, Passaic and Hudson Counties. They are dedicated to ensuring the well-being of everyone in the community who needs help. No matter your situation, JFCS is here for you.
