JFCS Purim Cards Support Food Pantry

The Jewish month of Adar, and with it the holiday of Purim, is a time to share good fortune and bring joy to others. It is customary to give mishloach manot, gifts of food and drinks, to family, friends and others on Purim day. This year, Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey (JFCS) is selling Purim cards to be sent to loved ones in lieu of mishloach manot. Purim card proceeds support the JFCS Corner Market Food Pantry. The JFCS food pantry assists over 560 families across our catchment area—more than 2,000 people in total—who are suffering from food insecurity. The stability and predictability of having access to enough food to feed their families brings great comfort to JFCS’s clients. This holiday, you can bring joy to so many with these Purim cards. Buy packs of five for $25, 10 for $40 and 20 for $70. Visit www.jfcsnnj.org to order your Purim cards and learn more about the Corner Market and JFCS’s other services.
