On Wednesday, May 15, Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey held their second seminar in collaboration with the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education. “Addressing Anti-Semitism Through Education Training” drew a crowd of teachers and education professionals. The dynamic and interactive program emphasized a hands-on critical approach to the issue of unconscious bias in teaching. The seminar engendered a lively discussion on a range of issues centered on anti-Semitism and teaching practice and explored ways of reducing the effects of bias in our classrooms and in ourselves.
