The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey visited the offices of New Jersey State Senator Kristen Corrado in Totowa. The event was another in a series of Legislative Advocacy Days organized by the Jewish Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation.
One of the topics was the rise of anti-Semitism and its remedies. This topic was especially relevant coming days after the Tree of Life Synagogue attack in Pittsburgh. Also discussed were the growing trade and business relationships between Israel and New Jersey. The group concluded by discussing the ongoing problems in northern New Jersey affecting vulnerable segments of the population such as affordable senior housing and convenient public transportation.
