Miriam Slipowitz, a JFS MetroWest volunteer, visited the JKHA kindergarten students last week. She read them books about the importance of tzedakah and a wholesome Shabbat meal, including Chicken for Shabbat. Students were each able to take home their own copy of the book. Afterwards, she worked with the ganim to make cards wishing a Shanah Tovah to be delivered to area senior citizens through JFS MW.
