(Courtesy of JFSCNJ) The JFSCNJ Coffee House is an innovative social and recreational program serving adults who have mild memory loss due to dementia. The program provides an opportunity to use and strengthen physical and cognitive abilities, increase self-esteem, form friendships and have fun. We seek to enhance the overall well-being of each participant in a safe and stimulating environment.
Entertainment, exercise, lunch, and transportation provided by professional staff, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Temple Sholom, 1925 Lake Avenue, Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
The program is generously funded by the Healthcare Foundation of NJ, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, and the Union County Division on Aging, and is open to all and free of charge for individuals from Union County who qualify. Private pay option is available.
