JKHA lower school students were paired up with middle school students for a joint Yom Yerushalayim program. The student buddies worked in small groups and learned about the various names for Yerushalayim. After the learning portion, students drew and colored in photos of Yerushalayim together. The program culminated in an all JKHA Shabbat assembly in the Epstein-Stein Auditorium where the students sang and danced to songs about Yerushalayim. Students were also treated to a performance by the lower school choir.
