JKHA middle school students participated in a round robin during Aseret Yemei Teshiva where they were exposed to highlights of the tefillot on Yom Kippur. The four sessions covered viduy (confession), the avoda (service) of the Kohen Gadol which we recite during Mussaf, Maftir Yona which we read at Mincha and the tefillah of Neilah. Students had a guided worksheet that they filled out with a summary of what they learned as well as a goal for what they can do to make that part of tefillah more meaningful.
