Parshat Noach has come to life at JKHA. Early childhood and lower school began their week of many colors with tie-dye day. They continued the theme with red day, yellow and green day, pink and purple day, and JKHA swag day to close out the week. Students were excited by all the dress up opportunities.
Early childhood explored many hands-on and interdisciplinary activities for Parshat Noach. EC3 created edible rainbows, molded animals from Play-Doh for their teva, and performed sink or float experiments. It was a mabul party for EC4! Students each made their own teva and tie-dye shirt, then took part in a mabul party! They participated in different types of activities related to rainbows, animals and water. They hypothesized if items would sink or float, went on a rainbow hunt and enjoyed their animal cracker treat.
