JKHA middle school conducted a STEM Chanukah Nightlight competition to create Chanukah-themed nightlight covers. Students on their own time worked in the Kushner Kreators STEAM Lab using a variety of materials. Some used 3D printers, others used clay, popsicle sticks or any material they wanted. Their creation needed to be Chanukah-themed and utilize the rubric of incorporating Chanukah ideas, using different materials creatively, and structurally strong, with even light diffusion. Voting took place this week based on the categories.
