All of JKHA and RKYHS gathered on the fifth day of Chanukah on the grassy knoll at the front of the school campus, facing the main street, for a communal menorah lighting. The students exuberantly fulfilled the mitzvah of pirsumei nisah, waving Israeli flags and singing and dancing for all the cars driving by, with their collective Jewish pride on full display. There was a palpable sense of hope as the school community raised their collective tefillot together to bring open miracles for all of Am Yisrael—bayamim hahem bazman hazeh!
