All of JKHA and RKYHS experienced the Signature Project today led by its artist Patrick Dunning. Dunning has created an epic work-in-progress, painted not with brush strokes but with signatures—names signed by hundreds of thousands of people in a spectrum of colors to come together to form this gargantuan piece of art. Dunning began this ambitious project in 1993; when completed, the finished piece will stand three stories tall, signed by over a million people.
Each and every signator is a person with a story to share. Through his multi-media performance, Dunning weaved the common threads of people that binds us all together and described this massive work. The Signature Project is a one-of-a-kind experience, recognizing the individual and the community, celebrating life in all of its forms and seeing the world in a different light.
