In honor of Lag B’Omer, the lower school engaged in an afternoon of mind, body and soul activities. Students created artistic expressions of bonfires, played student-created games teaching chesed, participated in storytelling activities and played exciting team-building games. With the eighth grade away on a trip to Washington, the seventh grade took the mantle of leadership as the oldest students in JKHA, helping to facilitate activities. The day ended with song and stories in a school-wide kumsitz.
