Building on the model that Avraham Avinu set for the Jewish people in Parshat Vayera, the JKHA Early Childhood and Lower School students worked on their Hachnasat Orchim (welcoming guests) skills this week. Younger students welcomed older ones into their classrooms to share Shabbat ruach, songs, stories and snacks. These class partnerships are a continuation of the Reading Buddies program in which students partner together to foster a greater sense of community learners.
