In honor of Parshat Noach, students at JKHA represented a rainbow by dressing up. Each day last week, students had the opportunity to dress up in different colors, wearing a rainbow’s worth of clothing and accessories. From blue and orange for school spirit day to blue and white for Rosh Chodesh to the rest of the colors of the rainbow, their enthusiasm could be felt throughout the hallways as classes came together to count their colors and compare themselves to other classes. Friday was the final day of the celebration,with a Yom HaKeshet (Rainbow Day), in which students were encouraged to wear as many colors as possible. As the week of colors took place during the first full week of school in over a month, students demonstrated real excitement and unity as they learned Parshat HaShavua.
