Throughout this year, JKHA fifth grade students have had the opportunity to participate in the Eretz Chemda Distance Learning Program. Students have been able to continue the program in their current remote learning as well. This interactive bi-weekly course, taught directly from Jerusalem, teaches the mitzvot of the Land of Israel in a way that brings their theory and practice to life in an exciting, user-friendly and experiential way, while strengthening students’ connection to Israel and the Jewish people at large. JKHA students have been so excited to learn each session from Rabbi Kaufman and Rabbi Poupko and they look forward to each time that they meet.
