The children of kitah alef at JKHA worked very hard to prepare for their big day and their efforts paid off as they performed beautifully, with enthusiasm and zeal. They sang songs about the tefillot in the siddur, and entertained their parents and grandparents with songs from their Tal Am curriculum with new hand motions and dances. Their faces lit up as they walked across the stage to receive their new siddurim. This moment marked their entry into the prayer community, one that will connect them to their parents, grandparents and many generations before them. Students are eager to use their siddurim to daven with great kavanah and to grow their connection to Hashem.
