In preparation for Chanukah, JKHA students in Gan Aleph and Gan Bet joined together to participate in a hands-on experiential morning complete with numerous Chanukah activities. The Chanukah-themed centers included dreidel weaving using construction paper, dreidel block painting using various shapes to form a dreidel painting, chanukiot mosaics designed with different colored and shaped paper to help develop fine motor skills, Chanukah window decorations that will adorn the children’s homes and edible chanukiot that added a sweet treat to the end of the day. The classes enjoyed having parents come to volunteer at this fun filled event.
