JKHA Kitah Alef Learns Ivrit

JKHA Kitah Alef has enthusiastically begun learning Ivrit using the multi-sensory and dynamic Tal Am curriculum. To introduce the reading program, Rabbi Srolovitz dressed up as Ariot, the class lion, who teaches all the letters to the children. The children welcomed “Ariot” with the song, “Shalom Ariot” and happily received their new workbooks, which they immediately began to explore with a palpable sense of excitement. The children were introduced to the characters in the program with a special story from the Tal Am library and with stick puppets. The children will continue to engage in interactive games on the SmartBoard on an ongoing basis, which will complement the literacy curriculum.
