It was a beautiful way to usher out Shabbat as JKHA lower school children and their families, along with JKHA faculty and administration, joined together as a school community for a meaningful Havdala program on the motzei Shabbat before winter break. Everyone sat together for an enthusiastic kumzitz followed by Havdala and ruach-filled dancing. The evening continued with a melave malka for parents and a fun magic show for the students. Students have been preparing and learning about the the mitzvah and the songs of Havdala in their classrooms and they enjoyed being able to participate in the mitzvah all together as a school family.
