JKHA early childhood and lower school students emulated Avraham’s hospitality in Parshat Vayera with Yom Hachnasat Orchim. Lower school, early childhood and Sinai students welcomed each other into their classrooms for Shabbat celebrations and joint projects. Several of the classes had made cards in advance of the visits to ensure their visitors felt welcome. Other ways that students learned to be a good hosts included being welcoming and offering food, just like Avraham did with his guests, as the students offered their guests snacks at their joint Shabbat parties.
