In anticipation of their upcoming bar mitzvah celebrations, seventh grade boys were privileged to hear from JKHA parent and local chazzan, Keith Mendelson, about his experiences leading the congregation in tefilah. Mr. Mendelson encouraged students to realize the central role of prayer in their lives, to learn the meaning of the words and to recognize their responsibility to lead the tzibbur in prayer. His words, which came from the heart, are sure to penetrate the hearts of JKHA students, and inspire their tefilot for many years to come.
