Each month, JKHA middle school students enjoy special programming for Rosh Chodesh. Middle school boys participate in “Rosh Chodesh with the Rebbes” and middle school girls engage in “Meaningful Months with the Morot.” The programs are monthly opportunities for students to spend time with their faculty members outside of the classroom setting. This month on Rosh Chodesh, the girls made inspirational art pieces and locker decorations focused on positive messages like the middle school Kushner CARES mantra (Community, Accountability, Respect, Empathy and Self-Awareness), #ThankYouHashem and BLAM (bentch like a mensch). The boys enjoyed a kumzitz and games with their rebbeim.
