Middle school seventh and eighth grade boys are already preparing for next Sukkot by arranging for the planting of new aravot. The class prepared the aravot for the planting stage using old aravot that were brought in. When the aravot branches begin to sprout, they will plant them on the school campus and harvest them next year before Sukkot. Students were excited to go from one mitzvah to the next and to be involved with the mitzvah in a hands-on way. They look forward to watching the development of their project over the course of the year.
