On the second day of Chanukah, the JKHA pre-K performed their Chanukah show, under the guidance of their teachers and the school’s music teacher. The pre-K students reviewed and practiced many skills in preparation for their show. They were able to utilize their counting and sorting skills, while effectively demonstrating how they follow directions and remember detailed routines. The students worked successfully together and showed their parents what it takes to work collaboratively as a part of the JKHA community. The performance was enhanced by multiple props such as tambourines, candle lights and colorful ribbons, all of which added to the festive mood. The children were also able to creatively construct a chanukiah using multi-colored blocks. The JKHA pre-K families were overjoyed to watch their children perform with such ease and enthusiasm.
