The Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy’s esteemed Middle School rebbeim—Rabbi Yaacov Feit, Rabbi Adam Hertzberg, Rabbi Dovid Selengut and Rabbi Dovid Sukenik—participated in the A TIME Shas-a-Thon fundraiser. This unique experience brings together hundreds of people to learn the entire Talmud in one day under one roof.

The money raised and the learning are dedicated in support of couples dealing with issues related to infertility as they struggle to begin or build their families. Collectively, the Kushner rebbeim raised over $20,000 for this tzedakah and learned 40 dapim (pages) of Gemara in support of this important organization. In dedicating their spare time to an important cause, JKHA faculty members continue to act as role models for their students, illustrating through their actions how combining Torah learning and chesed can enrich the lives of all in our community.
