Over 40 JKHA and RKYHS students, faculty members, alumni and parents took part in a pre-Pesach hair donation drive. All of the participants donated a minimum of eight inches of their hair to The Hair We Share, an organization whose mission is to help maintain the dignity, confidence and self-esteem of those affected by medical hair loss. They use the donated hair to make beautiful custom wigs and give them free of charge.

A total of over 430 inches were donated! These individuals performed one of the greatest forms of chesed, giving a part of themselves to someone else.

Yashar koach to all those that donated and to the hair drive organizers, RKYHS students Hannah Ginsberg and Jessica Serviss and their committee. JKHA/RKYHS parents Merav Stern and Betsy Yarkony also donated their time and hair-cutting skills along with several other hairdressers.
