JKHA/RKYHS is so proud of the close to 100 alumni who have served or are serving in the IDF and participating in Sherut Leumi, dedicating themselves to the State of Israel. The school recently created a tribute board, highlighting these alumni and their service, that hangs proudly in the halls of RKYHS. Last Thursday they held an Alumni IDF Tribute Board Dedication evening to officially unveil the board. The JKHA lower school choir performed in front of alumni, parents and friends in honor of esteemed alumni who served in the IDF and in Sherut Leumi. Along with remarks from Head of School Rabbi Eliezer Rubin and Director of Alumni Relations Shira Stein, attendees heard from Major General Nadav Padan and Rabbi Steven Weil from FIDF, as well as from some alumni who shared ways that JKHA/RKYHS inspired their love and connection to Israel.
